FIRST FRIDAY RELEASE: Nut Brown
March FIRST FRIDAY brings us to our acclaimed European Series, which brings traditional styles of Europe to the modern craft world. Released for the first time in 2024, Manor Hill Nut Brown was a huge hit… and too popular to not bring back. But this time it’s getting some First Friday Love! It will be available in cans and on draught beginning Friday, March 6th at 4pm. Plus… LIVE MUSIC from Kenny Arbuckle from 5-8pm!
Manor Hill Nut Brown (Brown Ale, 5.6%): Introducing the newest addition to our Euro Series: Manor Hill Nut Brown Ale. Inspired by the historic brewery of Tyneside, Northern England, this approachable ale features a deep reddish-brown hue with a creamy tan head that invites exploration. The aroma carries rich notes of dark toasted bread, coffee, chocolate, and caramel, with a subtle hint of roast. Light-bodied with a dry finish and medium carbonation, Manor Hill Nut Brown Ale strikes a perfect middle ground between our popular Mild Manor’d Amber and Porter. This timeless brew delivers a taste of tradition in every glass.
The Farm & Taproom will have 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Our Farm Stand (conveniently located behind the bar) is constantly evolving and is sure to have some locally produced items for sale, including staples like Manor Hill Farm Pickles, Relish, Jellies and more.
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, salads, snacks, novelty ice creams, and more!
(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe. On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence). Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with approximately 30 egg-laying hens. Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats. Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants. Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
Note that our Pizza Trolley & other food trucks may close one hour before the farm closes. Please check back regularly as this schedule can change as the date approaches.
