St Patrick’s Whiskey & Stout Release with McClintock
1) My Old Friend Imperial Stout: The re-release of our 2025 Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout “My Old Friend”. Set aside and cellared so we could release it in tandem with:
2) My Old Friend Whiskey: Its distilled and barrel-aged counterpart Whiskey… “My Old Friend”! This truly unique whiskey had its humble beginnings as a velvety smooth and roasty imperial stout brewed more than three years ago on Manor Hill Farm, just over 37 miles east of McClintock where it was ultimately distilled, aged, and bottled. “My Old Friend” pours a deep copper and is a flavor bomb of espresso, cacao, pear and cherry! Super delicious neat, on the rocks or in your favorite whiskey cocktail.
3) Estate Grown Corn Whiskey: New for 2026 and available exclusively in 200ml custom flask bottles… This whiskey was made from 100% corn grown on Manor Hill Farm. Distilled and aged in third-use barrels to keep the history of Central Maryland Corn Liquor alive.
Please note that both of these items sold out quickly when we last held this event in 2024. This is the third (and newest) iteration of the “My Old Friend” Whiskey that was released back in 2022 and 2024. So if you bought either of the previous vintages you’ll want to return for this one. And, of course, you’ll want the new Estate Grown Corn Whiskey.
McClintock Distilling (Frederick MD) On Site for tastings and bottles to go! McClintock’s Co-Founder Braeden Bumpers will be on-site (12-4pm) sampling their award-winning portfolio (including the limited edition new releases) as well as selling bottles to go!
Live Music from Rainy Day Matinee from 1-4pm.
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, salads, snacks, novelty ice creams, and more! In addition to their traditional offerings, they will also have a new pizza and new dessert…Dublin Delivery (Russian Dressing, Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, Guinness Braised onions, Mozzarella/Provolone Cheese, Chives) and Irish Stout Brownies!
Giveaway – 2 lucky people will each win a bottle of the 2024 Vintage of My Old Friend Whiskey. We saved 2 bottles from last year’s release to give away this year. Just head to the bar and put your name and email on a ticket for a chance to win. No purchase necessary. Must be 21.
The Farm & Taproom will have 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Our Farm Stand (conveniently located behind the bar) is constantly evolving and is sure to have some locally produced items for sale, including staples like Manor Hill Farm Pickles, Relish, Jellies and more.
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe. On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence). Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with approximately 30 egg-laying hens. Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats. Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants. Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
Note that our Pizza Trolley & other food trucks may close one hour before the farm closes. Please check back regularly as this schedule can change as the date approaches.
