EC250 Can Release and History Comes Alive Event

Join us at the Farm on Saturday September 10 from 12-4 for the final in a three-part series of commemorative EC250 cans from Manor Hill Brewing.  No tickets needed, all seating and space on the farm is first come, first served.  So bring your blanket, portable chairs, and canopy tents to make a day of it!

This event features the BEER RELEASE of #3 (of 3) commemorative cans of our signature IPA.  Can #3, entitled “TO THE HEAVENS”, tells the story of Benjamin Banneker, renowned scientist and settler of Old Ellicott City. There will also be a series of activities at the farm that day showcasing “EC History Comes Alive”.     Learn about Ellicott City’s rich agricultural history, how farming is done at Manor Hill today, and even try our award-winning agricultural product… Manor Hill Beer.  FEATURING:

~ Live performance from the EC250 musical ~
~ Interactive Civil War soldier encampment ~
~Sutler Lady Amiee will demonstrate how to make a colonial children’s toy ~
~ Surveyor Augustus Herman will demonstrate early mapping techniques ~
~ Colonial rope maker Brian will demonstrate his techniques and provide instruction for rope making ~

Our FARM & TASTING ROOM will be open 12-7pm with 14 farm-brewed beers/seltzers on draught and multiple options in cans available to go.

Our repurposed and restored PIZZA TROLLEY from Old Ellicott City will be offering 10″ Neapolitan-style pizzas baked in our custom-built brick from 12–6pm.

Mr Soft will be providing DESSERT in the form of cones, shakes, and other confections from his Ice Cream Truck.
