January First Fridays Release!

FIRST FRIDAYS continues with more releases at Manor Hill Brewing…

Rhodey (India Pale Ale, 7.7%)
Rhodey is the first in our Chicken Coop series for 2020. Rhodey, named for one of our beloved hens on the farm, is a lush and full-flavored IPA with a golden color, slight haze and firm, white head. Flavors of ripe, sweet oranges, tropical fruit and peach combine with bright, floral, tropical and citrus aromas for an absolutely delicious IPA reminiscent of a creamsicle.

Sleeves (Baltic Porter, 8%)
This year’s Sleeve’s release from our Head Brewer, Kurt, is a true-to-style take on a traditional Baltic Porter. A robust and rich malt bill delivers complexity with hints of toffee, chocolate, baker’s cocoa. The result is an appropriate amount of sweetness melded together with a full and round mouthfeel in this bottom-fermented winter treat.

In 2020, Manor Hill will be releasing a series of collectible glasses featuring artwork drawn by our head brewer, Kurt Krol. Each of these very limited one-of-a-kind 16 oz can-shaped glasses will spotlight one of our favorite chickens from the farm. Their release will coincide with a Limited Release beer that carries the same name and artwork!  It starts on Jan 3rd with RHODEY.. she is one of our Rhode Island Reds that struts around the coop laying 200-300 brown eggs/year. Her namesake beer is a NEIPA hopped with Michigan Copper, Julius, and Citra.

The first of the Beers and Limited 16 oz Can Glasses will be released at farm on 1/3 for First Fridays. Other glasses/beers to follow throughout the year… Collect them all!

Reservations to the Taproom are not required for to-go only sales, but you should make one if you plan to hang out and/or sample.
