Cellared Selection Release: Abricot Jubilee
May 9 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Farm will be open Friday (4-9pm), Saturday (12-7pm) and Sunday (12-7pm) with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go! We have indoor seating, a covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out.
Beginning Friday (5/9), we will be releasing the next in our Cellared Selection Series… a perfect celebration of spring!
Saison aged in French Oak barrels with Apricot (10%)
This royal release from our Cellared Selections is a beautifully balanced saison aged in French aak barrels with heavy additions of apricot. The immediate burst of fresh apricot on the nose sets the stage, hinting at the bright and fruit-forward experience to come. On the palate, subtle tartness from the apricot complements the base beer’s spicy phenols and classic Belgian esters, while the time in oak lends a delicate white wine character and soft tannins. Though the crowning achievement may be the impressively well hidden alcohol (10%), making this a deceptively easy-drinking beer.
All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open all weekend with Neapolitan-style brick oven pizzas, snacks, salads, and more!
(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe. On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence). Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens. Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats. Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants. Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
Note that our Pizza Trolley & other food trucks may close one hour before the farm closes. Please check back regularly as this schedule can change as the date approaches.
