COLLAB RELEASE: Life of Brian

March 9 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

For Saturday March 9th starting at noon, we will have a very special release at the farm! LIFE OF BRIAN will be available in 12oz cans and on draught.  This collaboration beer was brewed at Manor Hill on January 25th among friends in honor of Brian Roberts, Founder and Owner of Mad Science Brewing Company.  Proceeds from this West Coast Imperial IPA (tasting notes coming soon), will be donated to the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance at Brian’s request to spread the word about its mission and to help care for those affected and better yet, help prevent it altogether.

This Project is a big THANK YOU to Brian for the positive impact he’s made in all our lives and a chance to honor our dear friend. Please read more about this project and consider making a donation using the button below:

Collaborators from our January Brew Day with Brian include Mad Science Brewing, Liquidity Aleworks, Milkhouse Brewery, Rockwell Brewery, Vanish Farmwoods Brewery, Brewers Association of Maryland, Cultivate & Craft, Maryland Brewing Solutions, and Friends of Mad Science Brewing.  And thanks to Kevin Smith for designing the label!

Our TASTING ROOM will be open from 12-7pm with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go.  All seating on the Farm is first come, first served.  We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends.

Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open All Weekend!

(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)

INFO ON VISITING THE FARM

While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action.  Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer.  In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!

As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe.  On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence).  Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens.  Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats.  Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants.  Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
