Porter Release + Double Chocolate Brownies

October 25, 2024 - October 27, 2024

Beginning Friday (10/25), we will be releasing our popular cold weather seasonal… PORTER! Much anticipated and perfect for #DarkBeerSeason, there really isn’t anything better than a pint of porter. And ours, pouring a deep black body with a tan head, is one of the best. It’s both simple and complex as a unique blend of malts unite to provide bold roasted aromatics followed by flavors of chocolate and freshly brewed coffee. It will be available in 12oz cans and draught.

And we’ve got a special pairing coming out of the Manor Hill Pizza Trolley for the weekend.  What goes better with a bold, roasty, chocolatey porter, than a Double Chocolate Brownie (made with Manor Hill Porter)!  It will be available at the Pizza Trolley all weekend… be sure to try this absolutely delicious combination.

The Farm & Taproom will be open all weekend (Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 12-7pm, and Sunday 12-7pm) with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go.  All seating on the Farm is first come, first served.  We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).

INFO ON VISITING THE FARM

(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)

While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action.  Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer.  In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!

As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe.  On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence).  Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens.  Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats.  Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants.  Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
