Prized Pumpkin Release at the Farm
September 13 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
After a debuting in 2022, Prized Pumpkin has become a much anticipated release! Available at the farm on draught and in cans beginning Friday September 13. To complement the weekend theme and help ring in the fall season, we will also be selling local pumpkins in the taproom (while supplies last!).
Our Prized Pumpkin Ale (6.5%) is a sure winner, pouring bright amber with an off-white head. Initial aromas bring a cornucopia of pumpkin pie spices… you know the ones… cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and clove. These spices are balanced with low bitterness, and slight malty sweetness. While a beer like this only comes once a year, you’ll wish it was year-round!
Join us all weekend for these festivities at the farm:
Friday 9/13: Prized Pumpkin Release
Saturday 9/14: Books & Beers in the Barn + Mr Soft Ice Cream
Sunday 9/15: Live Music with Ben Weimer
Farm Open Friday (4-9pm), Saturday (12-7pm), and Sunday (12-7pm). In addition to the newly released Prized Pumpkin, the Taproom will have 13 other farm-brewed beers/seltzers on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out and find your new favorite spot with friends.
Our repurposed and restored Pizza Trolley will be open all weekend serving brick-oven Neapolitan-style pizzas, snacks, and salads.
(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe. On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence). Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens. Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats. Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants. Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
Note that our Pizza Trolley & other food trucks may close one hour before the farm closes. Please check back regularly as this schedule can change as the date approaches.
