Cellared Selection Release: Solemn Passage
September 29, 2023 - October 1, 2023
Our TASTING ROOM will be open Friday (4-9pm), Saturday (12-7pm) and Sunday (12-7pm) with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go! We have indoor seating, a covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out.
Beginning Friday (9/8), we will be releasing the next in our Cellared Selections:
Solemn Passage is one of our most complex Cellared Selections. A Belgian Quad aged for 10 months in a blend of Elijah Craig and McClintock whiskey barrels, it pours deep mahogany with tan foam. Oak and whiskey character from the barrels are complemented by notes of dark caramel, toffee, candied dark fruits, vanilla, and a subtle cinnamon-like spice. This is a big beer at 12% ABV, a full body, and a pleasantly sweet finish. Sip this one with friends as you ponder what awaits at the end of the solemn passage.
