FIRST FRIDAY RELEASE: Crooked Beak

April 4 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

It’s FIRST FRIDAY, and we’ll be releasing a crowd favorite with a passionate following… Crooked Beak (Hazy IPA, 7.7%)!  This homage to our dearly departed, but never forgotten, rooster will be available in 12oz cans and on draught.

CROOKED BEAK (New England-Style IPA, 7.7% ABV) – Named after our favorite rooster on the farm, this New England IPA is one of our favorite recipes. It was hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria. A hazy golden body is crowned by a big white head. Aromas of mango, tangerine and berries come through on the nose. The flavor profile displays some citrus fruit character with a very low bitterness and a soft mouthfeel

~~~~~~~~
The Farm & Taproom will have 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go.  All seating on the Farm is first come, first served.  We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends.
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open all weekend serving brick-oven Neapolitan-style pizzas, salads, snacks, and more.
(please note Trolley may close 1 hour before farm closes.)
INFO ON VISITING THE FARM
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action.  Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer.  In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe.  On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence).  Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens.  Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats.  Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants.  Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
